Our long time friend DJ Rouge stopped by the studio last week to brainstorm ideas on his next entrepreneurial project. Pat's (aka DJ Rouge) hour long mix-up track fueled our skate across New Zealand with Rob Dyer (Skate4Cancer). Thanks dude.

Our good friend Alanna Fennell is an incredibly motivated and intelligent woman. Since graduating from U of T with a BSc, she been working on creating a global health educational resource for students online for the University of Toronto International Health Program (UTIHP) - visit www.gheducation.ca.

Her next great adventure will be flying to Swaziland mid-January to do more volunteer work in a town called Bulembu. Swaziland has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS in the world, with a population that is actually declining due to the epidemic and a resulting orphan crisis. "I am really excited about this trip as I see it as both an opportunity for personal and professional development. I will be helping to create an HIV/AIDS health education program there, likely along with some other things in the health sector." Alanna Fennell

If you'd like to learn more about the organization she is volunteering for, visit the website: www.bulembu.org

Keep up-to-date with her blog: http://developingnotions.wordpress.com/

We wish you luck, and will miss your presense in the studio!
